Beyond disappointed

"The site is so obsessed with only length and width, it should have tipped me off. The length was fine, the width was fine, but the other measurement the site completely ignores was terrible. I could not fit into these shoes. I loosened the laces as much as possible, but still couldn’t get the zipper all the way up. I know I’ve got big feet, but I have never tried on a shoe before that didn’t have enough height/depth/volume inside to fit my foot in."

Toe box

"Way too narrow toe box. I really wanted to live these. I suffer with neuropathy, plantar fasciitis and my toes have begun to curl under so I now have bunions on bug toes and I so hoped these shoes would help. They did not. A larger size I would have walked out of. The toe box just was not wide as described. Please refund asap. This was expensive and I had such hopes for them."

I usually wear a size

"I usually wear a size 8-8. 5 W and after reading some reviews about ordering up a size in the Z Soul, I decided to order the 8. 5W in the navy color. It fits perfectly. I like that Taos offers this in the wide width and in so many colors. This is a fun sneaker to wear and the zipper really works, making it easier to slip into and go. Interestingly, I notice my hip doesn't hurt when I wear these sneakers for walking (it will with other brand sneakers). I plan to purchase from Taos again."

"Loved the Z Soul, unfortunately even with a wide width they were still too snug with socks. In addition, the zipper on them was not an easy close. Could never get it to close all the way."

Zipper Issue

"I travel almost weekly for work and love the zipper at airports. Easy on, easy off. Unfortunately, the zipper does not stay up, and I'm always bending over to rezip it. When I have a long walk through an airport and I'm trying to make a connection, the added time to rezip sucks (yes, I know it's only seconds, but doing it 20+ times adds up). I love TAOS, but there has to be a fix for the zipper issues."

Best casual shoe!

"I love these sneakers so much!! I have been wearing them for years and my first pair just just started to look worn after 7 years of consistently wearing them. As someone who has bunions and a fallen arch, this is the only comfortable (and CUTE) sneaker my feet likes. And the toe box is wide enough without looking clown-y for my toes to move around and not feel squished all day. Highly recommend!"

"I love my first Taos. I simply love them. So I reordered 2 pairs. And they are so uncomfortable! They’re rubbing and chafing. I cannot wear them. Did they change the fabric? Or cut?"
