"feels very comfortable as per sizing. Much less foot pain so they are a good fit for me. Only problem is the material causes hot friction and sweating in the footbed. Issue resolved by having a soft leather footbed covering made by a shoemaker."

"I have loved every single Taos shoe I have bought and I thought this one would be great for going to Cancun. It had such a good arch support and I have flat feet. It did not give when I first put them on but I continued to wear them for the first couple of days. When my foot was torn and bloody, I took them off and they are in a bag for Goodwill. It was my fault buying a shoe on line without trying it on. I suspect it was the way my foot hit the support but I give warning to others who also have flat feet. Try this one on before buying. It was a waste of money for me but a windfall for someone who is needy."
"I wear orthotics, but have found these comfortable and supportive to wear for all day of walking. They have arches and a slight metatarsal dome, as well as being spongy as you walk. The straps do not hurt my arthritic big toe joint. I am normally a size 38 and bought the size 7. Would recommend them!"
