"I got these shoes based on the reviews for "walking all day in Europe" I just got back from a two week trip and after four days could not wear the shoes anymore. There was no give in the soles and the entire shoe was just stiff. I had worn the shoes before the trip to break them in, but they did not hold up to 20,000 steps a day on cobblestone streets - I ended up buying a pair of sneaker there to replace these."
"I typically wear 8 1/2 and ordered the 8 1/2, but the fit was too tight and when I called customer service there was no availability of exchanging for a 9, so I returned for store credit. Cute shoes though, would have loved to keep them but I buy Taos shoes and sandals for their comfort (and look!)."
"I received the shoes and love them. Unfortunately the right shoe does not fit right. The top of the shoe presses down on the top of my foot making the fit very uncomfortable. I have contacted Customer Service and will be requesting a credit to purchase another pair. These are no returns. I hope it workouts out."
"I really loved the design and style of this shoe so I bought a pair on final sale, but sadly they were far too small and I had to give them away. I normally wear size 8. 5 and I have bought the Crave boots from Taos in that size before with no issue, so I was comfortable taking the risk on final sale. Sadly the Plim Soul style was much too small for me both in the toes and the heel - I recommend sizing up!"

"I ordered a size 8 based on the recommendation that the shoe runs bigger. It did not so I am glad I could exchange for an 8 1/2. The shoes were very stiff so I gave them time to hopefully loosen up. When I finally wore them for an extended time (3 hours) my pinky toes were totally enflamed and painful. So I'm somewhat disappointed in this shoe and will not purchase again. My Taos sandals are great tho."
"I have both the canvas and leather versions of this shoe. While the Lux (leather) was immediately soft and comfortable, the Plim Soul (canvas) has a really stiff heel padding which is giving me blisters on the Achilles tendon. I'll have to break them in really slowly, and hopefully they can become an everyday shoe. I recommend these in wide width as fabric doesn't stretch like leather."
"Currently only a 4 star because they are quite stiff. Fit is true to size. My Research had comments that they soften and form fit to foot. Has not happened yet. The colour is as shown and they are nice looking. Here is hoping they soften. I was hoping they would help with heel pain but has not yet. I"
"These shoes are so cute but the upper heel on the inside is very stiff and canvas like. Rubs a blister on my heel every time I try to wear them. I have tried different pads and things on the inside but I can’t seem to break them in. I’m sad I won’t be able to wear these. This was my first try at Taos shoes and most likely my last."
