"It's hard to tell right now. I have several pairs of Taos, and this has by far the least flexible sole, so the shoe is escaping a little for now. But, maybe, as I wear them, the sole will become more flexible."

I was looking for a
"I was looking for a cute white leather casual sneaker with firm arch support for an upcoming cruise from Venice to Barcelona. The Z Soul Luz checked off all of my boxes. I will be walking through a lot of cobblestone streets that could be quite dusty and the individually wrapped Taos wipes that I also bought will be perfect solution to keep my leather sneakers looking pristine. The shoes fit great but, as expected, they are a bit stiff. This is improving with wear. I love that I can keep them tied and use the zippers to easily slip in and out. If my feet swell, I can loosen the ties for more width."
Toe box is uncomfortable
"Most uncomfortable shoe I’ve ever bought. Really wish I could return. The toe area runs narrow and the seams are in an awkward spot. As someone who stands all day for work I was really hoping these would be comfortable but no. Instead I’ve now had to go through multiple physio appointments just to get my alignment back in order :("

I have been waiting for
"I have been waiting for a long time to finally buy these shoes, but the verdict is still out. I got half a size up as reviews said they run small, so the length seems fine. They do seem to run a bit wide, which feels a bit awkward and I'm not sure if some of that is due to the zipper which seemed like a great idea. I haven't worn them much yet as they are rather stiff and heavy and just don't feel as comfortable as I had hoped. Hopefully after some more wear they will feel better. I also don't understand why shoe companies keep lacing shoes in a strange way. They do seem like good quality, we shall see."

"I was unsure what size to order since Taos is always listed in European sizes, and I take a 39. I decided to try my usual 8 1/2, which works for almost every shoe, but, you never know. Pleasantly surprised they fit! I love these! Everything about them, from the cute style, the zipper to the comfy arch inside."
Great supportive shoes
"I highly recommend these shoes for the arch support. Wear them around the house a bit first; it took a while for the materials to break in. Because the insert is rigid, they don’t feel comfy when you first put them on, but you’ll be surprised at how quickly your body acclimates to that. You’ll be thankful that you bought these shoes."
